How does Online Tutoring Work?

Video and internet have improved so much over the last ten years that today online tutoring is near equal and in some ways superior to in-person tutoring. High definition video chatting and screen sharing enables me to show you exactly what I am thinking and doing as if I were sitting right next to you (and vice-versa). Online tutoring eliminates the inconvenience of travel and meeting in noisy public venues. Most importantly, it frees you from the limitations of your physical location, and gives you access to better education, including the best tutors around the world.

I prefer to use Google Meet, which is entirely web-based. The only equipment you need is a webcam, which comes standard with most laptops today, or can be purchased for under $20. I recommend at least 1080p if you ever plan to make your own videos.

I accept payments electronically through Zelle, because it offers superior safety and security. If that is not possible, I also accept money orders, which have to be mailed to my physical address.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. For both SAT and college essay tutoring, I offer a free initial consultation.
